Employer Nomination Scheme visa lets skilled workers, who are nominated by an employer, live and work in Australia permanently.
You can sponsor eligible family members to come to Australia. You can also apply for Australian citizenship.
To be eligible to apply for a 186 visa, the organisation must offer the worker
a full time eligible employment position that is available for at least 2 years from date of
visa grant.
This visa is only available to workers employed or being considered for employment
in an occupation listed.
The worker will need to be under 45 years of age, and have a positive skills assessment. For the direct entry stream, you must have at least 3 years of relevant full time work experience and at least competent English. In addition, the applicant and family members must satisfy health and character requirements.
For the Temporary residence transition stream you must hold a subclass 457, TSS or related Bridging visa A, B or C. It usually requires you to work for your employer at least 2 years full time while holding a subclass 457 or TSS visa.
